Bulgaria

Creative Outreach Ministries Director Dottie Compton partnered with Pastor Darla Weaver, from Lone Star Cowboy Church, and Vanessa Birkbeck, in April of 2011, to bring the healing power of God’s Word to the nation of Bulgaria. The conference was hosted by Pastor Ivo Koychev of Life in Glory Apostolic Christian Center, Stara Zagora, Bulgaria.  The "Women of Destiny" national conference brought spiritual and emotional healing to many women and even many men who were in attendance! Pastor Darla wrote “Acts of Grace,” which is an intense Bible study on sexual abuse.  She held workshops that taught on the study and helped to train leaders to teach it themselves. God worked in an incredible way on this trip. Read our blog about our trip!

Watch video of the conference!

According to available national statistics, over 70% of Bulgarian women have been subject to physical or sexual violence. Ms. Dottie and Ms. Vanessa were key speakers in the evening services that focused on the healing power of a loving God. It was an atmosphere of vibrant praise and worship, and a strong teaching of the Word--the Glory of the God fell! We thank all of those who gave us support through prayer and encouragement.

Life in Glory Apostolic Christian Center

In 1994 the Lord called Ivo Koychev into the ministry. Shortly after, he established what is known today as Life in Glory Apostolic Christian Center. The vision is to be a unifying center, where people from different ethnicities in Bulgaria can work together for the betterment of the society.

He is the founder of Roma Destiny ministry as well, whose mission is strongly committed to the reformation amongst the gypsy community. The goal is to encourage spiritual, intellectual and social change, so they can find their true destiny and identity in Christ, and integrate successfully into contemporary society. His message has touched hundreds of people in Bulgaria. He is recognized as one of the young, pioneering leaders, which the Lord is raising in the nation today.

Life in Glory ACC strongly believes in the mandate which the Lord has given to Koychev, and desire to see the redemption and God's purpose for the people of Bulgaria on a national and international scale.

Ivo Koychev has been married to Ganka Koychev and they have two sons, Stefan and Rumen, who are actively involved in their ministry.

In Depth Media

Nikola Dimitrov, is the director of In Depth Media ministry, attached to Life in Glory Apostolic Christian Center in Stara Zagora. He is working relentlessly on a voluntary basis, to record, translate and publish Christian literature, CDs and DVDs for the people of his country.

The Lord has given Nikola a vision for the spiritual education of the next generation. The church can have the greatest revival, but if we do not invest in our children, everything will be lost in about thirty years. Therefore, COM has helped to fund In Depth since 2005 to assist Nikola in working toward the publication of Christian children's literature of all kinds: evangelizing tools, Bible stories, Christian stories showing the Lord's values and standards, games, a periodical magazine full of the word of God for children and much more.

The Tabernacle of David

The Lord has also given Nikola a vision of a prayer, intercession, praise and worship ministry. Following the example of David, it will allow people to come and intercede for the nations of the world, and give the Lord the praise and worship He deserves.

Nikola is married to his beautiful wife, Helen, and they have two beautiful daughters - Ani (which means grace) and Miki (which means like God).
