Experiencing God is full of creativity and blessing. As we grow and strengthen our relationships with God, He brings new things into our lives; He brings new ways to walk with Him and hear from Him.
In the eyes of a child, the way they communicate with their parents changes as they grow. A newborn baby communicates mostly through crying and more crying, seeking the comforting embrace of its mother and father. On the other hand, a teenager won’t seek that same comforting embrace (at least not in public!) through crying; they will, however, connect through conversation, seeking support and example.
God always remains relevant to our lives. When you first accept Christ, you are opened up to a whole new world of encountering Him. As the years pass by, you grow in your walk with Him; your life is surely changing and so should the level to which you communicate with God!
Some of us may get stuck thinking that once you first know Him, that’s it, you’ll know Him the same way the rest of your life. It’s time for a fresh encounter. We must realize there’s no end to discovering God! He will reveal Himself to you in different ways in different seasons in your life!
He knows you so well and knows how to speak to you where you are at. You just have to recognize that He is always present and begin to really pay attention! When you expect to experience God, you will find Him.
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”
