Oppositely, uncertainty of who you are is the cause for anxiety, indecision, mistrust and ultimately will rob you of your destiny in life.

The life of Jesus is the best example out there of knowing who you truly are. Think about it, how effective would His ministry have been had He not known who He was and whose He was? Would He have been able to endure the cross had He not known His purpose?

In John 14:6-7, Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you had known Me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him.”

Jesus knew who He was and He knew who His Father was. Confidence in this allowed Him to fulfill His ministry and to serve others without hesitation.

Using the life of Jesus as your prime example should reciprocate the same values to you. Knowing who you are and whose you are will allow you to effectively fulfill the purpose God has for you.

How could Jesus minister and serve others if He wasn’t certain who He was? How can you? You won’t be able to tell others about Christ if you are not confident in Who He is, what He has done for you and that He has a purpose for your life!

Uncertainty is a poison that will hinder you from your calling. Its toxic mindset will convince you to take a back seat while others stand for truth. But God intended you for so much more; He designed a destiny for you to fulfill His Kingdom, and confidence in your identity in Christ is the key to taking the first step toward it!
