Praying Miracles

Have you ever wanted to express what’s in your heart to someone but just couldn’t find the words?

I heard this beautiful song (In Jesus Name by Katy Nichole), and the lyrics conveyed exactly what I wanted to say and pray over you today:

I speak the name of Jesus over you; in your hurting, in your sorrow, I will ask my God to move.

I speak the name of Jesus ’cause it’s all that I can do; in desperation, I’ll seek Heaven and pray this for you.

I pray for your healing, that circumstances would change. I pray that the fear inside would flee in Jesus’ name. I pray that a breakthrough would happen today.

Miracles over your life in Jesus’ name.

I speak the name of all authority, declaring blessings, every promise He is faithful to keep. I speak the name no grave could ever hold. He is stronger; He’s the God of possible.

Jesus is the God of possible, and he desires to have a personal relationship with you, but it is your choice whether you desire the same. This has nothing to do with religion, which is man-made, but everything to do with the love that Jesus has for you.

You might ask yourself, how do I have a personal relationship with Jesus?

First, think about the relationships in your life. How did you form them? The first step would have been getting to know that person—spending time together and learning about each other’s backgrounds, personalities, hobbies, and so on. Over time, the relationship would grow and strengthen. Trust would develop, and soon there would be a true connection and closeness. A relationship with Jesus is the same. You have to spend time with him in order to know him. Diligently studying and applying his Word, praying, and keeping an open heart and listening ear toward him will help you develop your relationship with him.

Bring all your questions, doubts, hurts, and concerns to him. He knows everything about you and accepts you just as you are, but he will never leave you the same. He has plans for you—not to harm you, but to give you hope and a future. The question is: will you accept him as your Lord and Savior? He’s always waiting at the door of your heart—will you let him in?
