JESUS THE GOD OF POSSIBILITY!
Have you ever wanted to express what’s in your heart but couldn’t find the words, even to Jesus? Today, I want to tell you that Jesus is the God of possibility and can enable us to connect the dots and formulate the right words in every situation.
I heard this beautiful song (In Jesus Name by Katy Nichole), and the lyrics conveyed exactly what I wanted to say and pray over you today.
I speak the Name of Jesus over you; in your hurting and your sorrow,
I will ask my God to move.
I speak the Name of Jesus because it’s all that I can do; in desperation, I’ll seek Heaven and pray this for you.
I pray for your healing and that circumstances will change. I pray that the fear inside would flee, in Jesus’ Name.
I pray that a breakthrough would happen today. I pray miracles over your life in Jesus’ Name.
I speak the Name of all authority, declaring blessings and every promise He is faithful to keep.
I speak the Name no grave could ever hold – He is greater, He is stronger, He’s the God of POSSIBLE.
THINK ABOUT THE NAME OF JESUS.
Why does this Name have such power and authority?
You might think that all people have names; the Name of Jesus was common in 1st-century Israel and is still used today.
So, what is special about this particular Name?
It’s because of who this Name belongs to: Jesus Christ, the Risen Savior.
All of who Jesus is: His character and nature, His ability to heal, save, protect, provide, redeem, restore, etc. dwells in His Name. Jesus is the Son of God, Messiah, Son of Man, Mediator, High Priest, Lamb of God, the King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords.
Philippians 2:9 -10 says, Therefore, God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the Name that is above every name, that at the Name of Jesus, every knee should bow in Heaven and on earth and under the earth and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
As believers in Jesus Christ, we have access to the power of His Name because we belong to Him. This does not mean we can use His Name to fulfill our own desires and passions.
James 4:3 says that when you ask, you do not receive because you ask with the wrong motives, and you may spend what you get on your pleasures. Instead, you must submit and pray in line with His will and His character.
Investing in a personal relationship with Him is the only way to know His will and character.
Jesus desires a personal relationship with you, but your choice is whether you desire the same.
What I am explaining has nothing to do with religion, which is man-made, but everything to do with Jesus’s love for you. He wants you to spend this life and eternity with Him.
YOU MIGHT ASK YOURSELF, HOW DO I HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS?
First, think about your relationships. How did you form them? The first step would have been getting to know that person – spending time together and learning about each other’s backgrounds, personalities, hobbies, etc.
This initial stage would have been superficial or surface level. Ultimately, you have personal contact with that person, but there is no depth.
Over time, that friendship would blossom and strengthen into a relationship as you learned each other’s hearts and characters. Trust would develop, and soon, there would be a genuine connection and closeness.
This process is the same with Jesus. As you spend time with Him, you learn who He is and who you are to Him. As you develop your relationship with Him, you experience the depth of His unfailing love for you.
Diligently studying and applying His Word, praying, and keeping an open, teachable heart and listening ear towards Him will help you develop your relationship with him.
Bring all your questions, doubts, hurts, and concerns to Him because He knows everything about you and accepts you just as you are, but He will never leave you the same.
He has plans for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).
The question is: Will you accept Him as your Lord and Savior?
He’s always waiting at the door of your heart; will you open it and let Him in?
Sadly, so many people fall prey to Satan’s schemes. They believe his lies and are easily led astray. Satan came to kill, steal, and destroy all God would have loved to do in their lives. The enemy delights in robbing them of all the blessings and miracles that would have come their way.
Satan is crafty and sly; people don’t even notice what he is doing.
But for those who become believers, Satan is terrified that they will realize and utilize the power that lives within them through Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit is their Helper. He gives them the courage and strength needed to ward off Satan’s attacks in the power of Jesus’ Name.
Jesus is above every sickness, addiction, affliction, oppression, hurt, shame, guilt, or pain. Whatever you are dealing with or your situation, Jesus is the God of POSSIBILITY!
I invite you today to not wait but surrender your heart and life to God by accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior. Allow Him to cleanse you of your sins and work with you to strengthen areas of your life that need His help. Faithfully work on developing a deep relationship with Him by studying God’s Word and talking and listening to Him regularly.
You will still encounter challenges, but you will not be limited to your ability alone but His limitless power ♥️
