UGANDA MATTRESS PROJECT
We are overjoyed to share what God has done through
our combined efforts in April 2026!
Our 2026 Uganda Mattress Project was a beautiful testimony of God’s faithfulness and your generosity!
This project, held in April, was a joint effort with Creative Outreach and Mbarara Group and took place in the remote villages of Kataraga, Ahabuhinga, and Nyarurambi Centers in Uganda.
Through this outreach, 1,500 mattresses and 1,500 pillows were distributed to families who primarily sleep on dirt floors, with either completely worn-out mats or no mats at all.
Meeting this essential need will improve sleeping conditions and overall quality of life for 1500 individuals!
It was a powerful reminder that your generosity — expressed through a mattress and a pillow — carried the love of God to families who needed it most.
The journey was not easy. The Mbarara Group faced rain, poor roads, and slippery terrain for the two-and-a-half-day project. Despite the countless challenges, their volunteer team remained faithful, committed, and determined to finish the work.

CREATIVE OUTREACH MINISTRIES’ SUPPORT THAT ENABLED OUR RECENT OUTREACH IN UGANDA’S RUBANDA DISTRICT!
Through this mission, we distributed 300 Bibles, cakes, and juices to families across the Kataraga, Ahabuhinga, and Nyarurambi Centers.
Your support reached vulnerable people in remote areas who gathered with great expectation and joy!
Although we didn’t always fully understand their local language, their emotions spoke clearly. Their faces, smiles, gratitude, and warm welcomes expressed deep appreciation for the gifts they received.
Despite heavy rains, poor roads, and challenging terrain, our team’s faith and tenacity throughout the 14-hour mission made us all stronger and more determined than ever.
I am deeply proud and grateful for our volunteer team and the work they are doing in these communities.
This outreach powerfully reminded us that donor support makes a real and meaningful difference.
Through the distribution of Bibles, these precious people will be transformed, their faith strengthened, and, as they find God, we believe He will show them how to develop their remote communities.
All 300 families accepted the Bibles with visible excitement and reverence.
Some immediately began reading from the Scriptures, while others joined in praise, prayer, and worship. It was evident that their gift brought spiritual encouragement, renewed hope, and practical daily support to the communities we visited.
We count it a privilege that you trusted Mbarara Group to be your hands and feet
in these remote areas, where poverty is seen at its worst.
We humbly acknowledge our reliance on the generosity of those who love God
and care for His people enough to share with those less fortunate.
As we visit these remote areas, our first priority is always to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.

My life was forever changed after meeting Sister Dottie Compton.
She shared with me the power of living by faith, trusting God, and not relying on human understanding. She taught me to trust God without doubting, to have faith that everything is possible, and that heaven's supplies are limitless. She encouraged me to stand out and be who I am, to be an example to others, and to lead with integrity. She showed me the importance of being straightforward, accountable, and focused on achieving my goals with purpose.
Sister Dottie also emphasized the need for a quiet environment to connect with God, saying it's essential to create space to hear from Him. She advised me to dedicate all my plans to God before starting, seeking His guidance and blessing. She reminded me not to panic in challenging situations, as every experience is a testament for tomorrow, a testimony to God's faithfulness. She taught me to work diligently, with direct purpose, and not to gamble with my life, but to strive for excellence. Her words were like seeds planted in my heart, and I've seen growth and transformation in my life. I'm grateful for her guidance and wisdom. She's a true servant of God, and I'm blessed to have crossed paths with her.
