You have failed! You fail sometimes too many times, and you know it. We all fail, but measuring life by success and failure is a trap too many are stuck in. “I don’t have that,” “I am incapable,” “I’ve missed so much from life…” These examples of thought undermine what life really is about; they are thoughts that can completely take over your life and perspective. Take a look at this famous quote from the movie Rocky, “It ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you get hit and keep moving forward.” This quote sums up how our attitude toward life and failures should be. Yes, you just got fired, yes, you’re behind on your mortgage, and yes, you haven’t spoken with your relative in years and it kills you. But how are you going to move forward?
Every single person has failures in their life—everyone. Yet, no matter what it is, in order to get on the right track you have to move forward with Christ. We need to make room for Him to deal with our wounds, pride and pain. He wants you to open your heart so He can heal you. Let God take over, give Him control and come to Him as you are. Remember, you are born for success!
“Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.”
