 Patience in the Wait

The winter season of rest, it brings quiet and time slows down.

Everything around us seems silent, sometimes even God too. When we are approaching a season of growth our faith in Him has to precede it or we will lose our way.

This is one of the most powerful and difficult times because it requires patience and endurance. We often will not hear God’s voice or receive clear direction when we ask. It may be in the eleventh hour that we receive clarity, and there is a compelling reason why this happens. Sometimes God wants to speak to us in different ways than we are expecting, in order to develop certain qualities within us that we’ll need in the future He’s preparing for us.

When you feel alone or frustrated, remind yourself to have patience in the wait. Open your eyes to how He may want to show you something different. Search for Him in everyday things, and most of all seek peace.

He never leaves you, He never takes His eyes off of you; He needs you to lean on Him in faith and be open to how He wants to prepare you for growth!

“Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” Romans 12:12
