At times, we all need precise direction, strength to get through life’s challenges, healing in our relationships or body, and relief from the stresses of this world. When life is complicated, confusing, and lonely, our first response should be to run to God.
For me, it took time to develop that “automatic” response. I tended to try and fix it myself; if all else failed, I ran to God, frustrated, scared, or upset. After years of working toward a deeper relationship with Him, I now include Him in everything, doing my best to stay in constant communication over decisions that lead to the big stuff, and a lot of the little stuff too!
It has helped me immensely, and I’m sure it will help you too!

I’m Ashley. My mum Glenda is very mentally ill, please heal her! She is being unreasonably strict, many threats, hard to take, etc. Worried about what will happen next. My dad Alan is sick and needs surgery, but I don’t know if he’ll get it. If he gets it, hope he survives it. Hope that it doesn’t snow again, until late November. Hope for sunny weather on Friday. Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney is planning Bill C-9 Censorship which if goes through faith will be criminalized. Will churches be closed forever or worse, if Bill goes through? Please pass this prayer to others. Hope Bill C-9 never happens. Hope that Pierre Poilievre never becomes Prime Minister. Poilievre is a worse nightmare. Hope that Trump’s people do not strike Iran’s Power Plants. Hope Trump retires soon. Hope Iran and Russia never destroy USA and Canada.

I feel so anxious and dreadful. There’s a person, and people at my young adults causing trouble, anxiety, and depression for me. I feel like the coming of new people is replacing me, I feel insecure and unstable in my relationship with my church and young adults group, as well as my big brother. I am hurt deeply by the people around me that feel threatening, and I cannot catch a break. I need prayer that God would redirect these threatening people away from me, and that I will feel safe again. I have far too much traumas already, having lost my father, and someone who used to be my big brother died as well. I need a miracle for these people to leave, and that I will be safe, because everything is falling apart for me. And I feel hurt, betrayed, isolated, and the anxiety and depression is killing me. I need a miracle. I desperately need a miracle.

I would love to start a Street Fellowship, especially with street children in Kampala, with the aim of bringing out disciples by God's grace. This seem easy but hard work one can do alone, and nothing happens, but when with God everything can be possible. As a fella for some years back, i discovered that street boys need to meet Christ, in order to have faith and hope in Jesus who takes care of everything. A lot has gone wrong, and I’m feeling overwhelmed. Some things were out of anyone’s control, and some situations were confusing and hard to navigate. Please pray for peace in my mind and heart, and that God helps me stay calm and grounded.

Pray that my parents Glenda (mostly her, I think) and Alan forgive me and don’t throw me out. I made a mistake, it was small compared to other things I done, but it was still very bad in my mum’s eyes, I think it is because my dad is sick. I hope my physio gets cancelled tomorrow by people working there, as dad is sick. I am on very thin wire. My mum says I treat her badly every day, that is not true, at least I think that. My mum has a worse temper than mine, in my opinion. I worry about being homeless or worse or even dead. My dad has been sick for a while and only got worse yesterday. Help me do a lot better as a person, as I worry about doing the smallest things wrong can cause me to be kicked out. My mum has mental health issues. I hope my period doesn’t come in quite a while as when I have it or just before it is usually when I do the dumbest things and limited control of my behavior and don’t want to be kicked out because of them. I worry what I’ll do wrong next, it’s scary.

I need prayer big time. Please intercede on my behalf. There are tons of things on my mind and heart these days. My dad died 4 years ago, and my big brother died too in 2022. And I have so much anxiety, voids in my life that I need to be tangibly filled, and people coming in to my church/young adults group who are hurting me and causing even more dread and anxiety and I need them to stop and go away.
