“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing.” Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

Time is constantly moving ahead bringing change as it breezes by. Seasons come and go, marking the passing of another year.

The Earth’s seasons are an amazing example of God’s balance and detailed planning and purpose. The Earth is tilted at the perfect angle and has the perfect relationship to the Sun so we can inhabit it and have the seasons that we do.

As it says in Ecclesiastes, our lives too have seasons that come and go. Some seasons may seem like they last forever, others may be really tough. But for every winter there will be a spring, and you can trust God that He will bring balance even when life seems most unstable.

When we set our hearts after Him we relinquish time into His care. Our lives begin to orbit around Him, centered on His strength, welcoming whatever season may come our way and activating faith that He will supply our every need!

No matter what you are facing, whether it’s a season of much or of little, God knows what you go through and He cares about it all. Balance in every way comes when we have God at the center.
