Submitting to God is not only an act of obedience, it’s a demonstration of your love and respect.
When you allow Him to guide you in your decisions, you are essentially telling Him that because you know Him, you completely trust Him. It’s a demonstration of faith in action.
Saying yes to something you know God wants you to do is not always easy. Many times what He is asking you to do goes against your own desires, but you’ll soon find that saying yes, even if it takes you out of your comfort zone, will bring you to something bigger and better.
It is those uncomfortable pushes that will break you through to a deeper relationship with Christ. They will open doors into your purpose and shave off the insecurities that hold you back. When you learn to say yes without restraint to God, He will in turn bless you without restraint.
You are liable for your response to His call. You are the one who decides how far you want to go with God. Your submission to Him will bring enormous joy to your life, and you will learn over time that the difficult choices you once had to make allowed for the plan that brought you to where you stand.
“This calls for patient endurance on the part of the people of God who keep His commands and remain faithful to Jesus.” Revelation 14:12
