None of us are strangers to the private feelings of fear and loneliness.

When we are children, we often cry to our parents, saying: “Where are you?” because we are hurt, want something, or are frightened.

Because of love, they are always near, even if we can’t see them. We find comfort and security as we develop trust in them being present.

As adults, we can easily miss the reassurance that someone is providing for our needs and protecting us from so much evil in this world. It can quickly leave us with the impression that all life’s responsibilities now lie on our shoulders alone because, as adults, we have to take care of ourselves and meet our own needs.

If we embrace that belief, we will fail to realize God has not only been present our whole life; but most importantly, He created us—we belong to Him❤️

Psalms 139:13-18 says,
You made all the delicate inner parts of my body and knit them together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! It is amazing to think about. Your workmanship is marvelous—and how well I know it. You were there while I was being formed in utter seclusion! You saw me before I was born and scheduled each day of my life before I began to breathe. Every day was recorded in your book! How precious it is, Lord, to realize that you are thinking about me constantly! I can’t even count how many times a day your thoughts turn toward me. And when I awaken in the morning, you are still thinking of me!

We don’t have to wait until we don’t know where to turn or who to trust to realize we can’t do this life alone.

Philippians 4:6-7 says,
“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank him for his answers. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus.”

The Lord reassures us of His presence, willingness to help, and desire to comfort and keep us secure.

That doesn’t mean life will always be easy—BUT the Lord will be with us and help get us through life’s difficulties.

Whatever you face in life right now, know that Jesus does not send evil or the pain it brings. He rescues us from evil’s grip.

You can cry out to Jesus, who knows the right decisions, when to make them, and how to walk them out. He’s waiting for you to invite Him into your life—situation.

His promise, “I will never leave you nor forsake you,” is found in multiple books of the Bible, in both the Old and New Testaments. With His promise, we can be sure He is always with us. No matter our past, He offers the opportunity to invite Him into our lives, repent of our wrongdoing, receive His loving mercy, and enjoy His consistent security and wisdom to solve life’s challenges.

Deuteronomy 31:8
The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.

Accept His promise that He LOVES you right where you are and will never leave you, no matter what.

When we call on His name—He replies, “I am always near those I love” ❤️
