By embracing our uniqueness, we find something much deeper which defines us

—our decision to merge our path with the path of Jesus Christ.

People strive to be different from others to gain respect, be accepted, attract attention, or satisfy their inner dissatisfaction.

King David said, “You made all the delicate inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion and woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. How amazing are your thoughts about me, O God.” Psalms 139

God crafted each person in their mother’s womb to be unique. We owe our existence to Him and not to fate. You can read more in Genesis 1:27 and Job 10:10-12.

We are special in our way. He challenges us to embrace our identity, see it as a gift from God, and use it to serve others and spread God’s Word.

Since God created us and equipped us with our unique gifts and talents, shouldn’t we use all we have, living it in line with His ways and will?

Let’s maximize our efforts by stopping to compare ourselves to others, celebrating those around us, and watch what God will do, then what happens to you!
