Have you ever been so sure you were right that your passion left a trail of devastation, and you were the last to see your error in the situation?

I have, more than once. It wasn’t until I could see things from a different perspective that I realized how wrong I was.

Proverbs 14:12 says, “There is a way which seems right to a man and appears to be straight before him, but its end is the way of death.”

Sadly, I had to experience death (defeat) many times before I realized I could not live life successfully with my wisdom alone.

Like most people, over the years, there have been several key situations when I thought I was doing the right thing and later was genuinely shocked at how wrong I was.

I had been deliberately searching for God’s wisdom; how could I have missed it so miserably?!?

Those experiences eventually caused me to look honestly at my heart, motives, and actions and compare them to God’s wisdom.

After one such incident, when I wasn’t so emotionally involved, I could see one common thread:

  • BUSYNESS.
  • Keeping me from staying close to God in His Word daily.
  • Consciously working on becoming who I wanted to be, for myself and others.

When we get too busy to invest in ourselves through our relationship with God, we become overly focused on self, creating a “What about me” perspective.

That leads to dealing with life’s problems through self-preservation; after all, I must protect myself, right?

God wants to help us, but He gave each person the free will to choose to handle life alone or invite His wisdom and guidance.

Daniel 2:28 says, There is a God in heaven who reveals secrets and makes them known.

He knows the hidden problem and solutions to our challenges!

A powerful transaction occurs when you invite God into every part of your life.

YOUR THINKING AND BELIEVING BECOME TRANSFORMED INTO HIS, making it much easier to KNOW the right decisions to make and have the power to do what is best, even when you are hurting, angry or confused.

God is a personal God who wants to help us through life’s challenges. He can show you inner lying problems and solutions to whatever-whoever you’re dealing with.

Romans 12:2

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing, and perfect will.”

Following God does not mean you won’t have challenges, but as you follow Him and learn from Him, you will learn how to navigate life, make wise choices, and have a joy-filled, successful life.

I pray that you take the time to transform your life today ❤️
